Olympic Tickets can be quite pricey and not everyone can get their hands on these tickets. However, this shouldn’t spoil the fun of living in the host city. There are many festivities going on around town during the games that won’t cost you a cent.

The GE Plaza at Robson Square will be open for free public skating from 9 am to 9 pm every day. Skate rentals are $3 and include helmets for those 12 and under.

The City of Vancouver is hosting two amazing and distinct outdoor celebration sites (LiveCity Yaletown and LiveCity Downtown) during the 2010 Games.
LiveCity Yaletown is sure to be quite the entertainment hot spot with featured performers such as Jully Black, Keshia Chante, Marianas Trench, Deadmau5, Alexisonfire, In Flight Safety, Colin James and the Dal Richards Band. VANCOUVER ART GALLERY– Free Admission during the 2010 Olympic Games from Feb 12-28, 2010.
The Vancouver Art Gallery will host the BC Canada Pavilion on the fourth floor of the Vancouver Art Gallery. Admission to the Art Gallery and Pavilion will be free during the 2010 Olympic Games from February 12 through February 28, 2010. Regular Adult admission is $19.50 so don't miss this opportunity.
